Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 32 college credits or pass the Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment.

• All minimum requirements of habilitative intervention paraprofessional/technician/specialist must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a student's IEP.
• Provide personal care and behavior interventions.
• Support students with significant physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.
• Work under supervision of teachers and principals.
• May involve exposure to body fluids and risks from student behaviors.
• Assist with Medicaid billing and annual training.
