Kansas State University seeks a leader to oversee student financial operations, refunds, payment plans, and the Tuition-in-Lieu-of-Salary (TILS) program, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent service across cashiering and KSIS.

The role supervises front-line staff, coordinates EFTs and paper checks, and serves as the primary liaison for students and university staff. On-site position in Manhattan, KS with focus on data integrity and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and seven years of relevant experience.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all aspects of university refund processes and timely release of funds.
• Manage weekly paper checks and daily EFT/credit card refunds with専specific processes.
• Oversee the Tuition-in-Lieu-of-Salary (TILS) Program and related billing and reconciliations.
• Serve as primary liaison for students, faculty, and staff involved in the program.
• Verify data flow from the cashiering system (Transact) to KSIS.
• Process miscellaneous financial transactions including ACH and wires.
• Train and supervise staff on payment plans (Tuition Installment, Annual, University Repayment).
• Ensure student enrollment in each plan is timely and accurate.
• Supervise Cashiering and Student Services staff and student employees.
• Resolve complex inquiries about tuition/fees, refunds, 1098-T, 529, and account management.
