Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience in Financial Aid/Student Accounts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a one-stop financial services advisor for students and families regarding financial aid, billing, and payments.
• Communicate university policies and procedures related to financial aid and student accounts.
• Counsel students and families in-person and virtually.
• Respond to a large volume of inquiries via phone, email, and in person; participate in outbound campaigns.
• Assist prospective and current students with financial aid inquiries and information on aid processes, eligibility, and disbursement.
• Explain student loan options, repayment options, and default prevention.
• Discuss aid as it relates to a student’s account, payment options, and financing needs.
• Provide information about billing schedules, account balances, holds, refunds, and transcript requests.
• Supervise, train, and develop student workers; collaborate with other departments.
