Job summary

Success Education Colleges seeks a Financial Aid Advisor to administer federal and state aid programs for prospective and current students. You will explain aid plans, verify FAFSA information, enter data, and conduct entrance/exit counseling while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and seamless collaboration with Admissions and staff. Flexibility with schedule and ongoing regulatory training is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of government regulations and guidelines relating to financial aid and Title IV.
• Demonstrated skills in providing strong customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population.
• Detail oriented with accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to students and parents regarding financial aid requirements and procedures.
• Review financial aid applications, forms and documentation for completeness and accuracy; verify FAFSA information for eligibility.
• Input FAFSA data, review ISIRs and maintain funding schedules in CLASS.
• Provide entrance and exit counseling.
• Maintain complete and accurate files; coordinate with Admissions and staff.
• Stay current on applicable laws and regulations; attend workshops and conferences.
