Job summary

The role provides processing and operational support, counsels students on financial aid availability and the packaging of aid, and assists with federal/state/institutional aid programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience in a Financial Aid office preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Assist in administration and reporting of federal, state, and institutional aid programs.
Counsel prospective, transfer, part-time and graduate students on financial aid availability.
Review financial aid packages and verify aid applications.
Attend financial aid events and university functions.
Assist in data management for internal/external reporting and FAMS maintenance.
Maintain current knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures.
Reconcile Federal Work Study activities and prepare related reports.
Provide professional development and training related to responsibilities.
Interact with university community and external agencies within program scope.
