Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ financial, banking, or office experience preferred.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft products is required.
  • A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and counsel current and prospective students and families concerning applications, eligibility, and budget costs of education.
  • Explain state, institutional, and private regulations, scholarships, grants, and loans.
  • Review applications and required documentation to determine student eligibility for funds; generate correspondence; balance funds received and disbursed to students.
  • Enter and revise data in the financial aid software database; reconcile data generated by online applications.
  • Complete documents and information requests from outside agencies and other institutions.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Financial Aid in conducting parent financial aid seminars and visit programs.
