Job summary

UEI College is seeking a Director of Student Finance to provide vision and leadership for the campus Student Financial Services Department. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and institutional guidelines and oversee timely disbursement of financial aid.

The role requires oversight of 1-5 staff, budgeting responsibilities, and close collaboration with other departments to optimize student enrollment and aid packages.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or comparable work experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Ability to build productive relationships with all departments involved in student enrollment.
• Experience with Title IV activities and federal/state loan programs.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all Federal, State, accreditation and institutional policies.
• Directs a 1-5 person Student Financial Services team.
• Leads hiring, training and performance management of staff.
• Administers Title IV program responsibilities and disbursement of funds.
• Advises students on financial aid options and eligibility.
