Naugatuck Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Student and Family Engagement Specialist at Maple Hill Elementary School. The role supports liaison activities between teachers, parents, students, staff, and the community, coordinating programs and services to meet student needs.

The position focuses on outreach, guidance, attendance issues, and facilitating family education workshops to strengthen partnerships and improve student outcomes.

Qualificações

• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Ability to respect the rights of students and confidentiality.
• Experience with restorative discipline models is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a liaison between teachers, parents, students, staff, and the community regarding programs and services.
• Provide outreach, guidance, and information concerning school activities and attendance matters.
• Respond to inquiries and assist in resolving attendance, behavior, and welfare concerns.
• Coordinate and present family education workshops and distribute parent materials.
• Monitor attendance and support restorative practices and classroom behavior.
