Job summary

St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, is seeking a Lion’s Pause Student Facilities Organizer to maintain the Lion’s Pause spaces and equipment while recruiting student feedback for improvements.

As a part-time, student employee, you will help organize daily upkeep, manage entertainment items, host games, and collaborate with campus partners to implement ideas. On-campus role with flexible hours and a focus on student engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working within the Pause or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and equipment of the Jungle and Den on a daily basis (1 walk through a day).
• Maintain student entertainment items, including pool cues, game consoles, and other systems.
• Actively broadcast and organize games and gaming in the Pool Room and Pause spaces.
• Seek out student feedback for the Lion’s Pause and organize projects to implement feedback.
• Collaborate with the Purchaser on necessary purchases to maintain entertainment items.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design Organizer to create and distribute Pause signage.
• Host three office hours a week dedicated to Pause maintenance and event planning/management
