Job summary

AIM is seeking a Student Enrollment Specialist in Phoenix to drive the full admissions journey from inquiry to enrollment. You’ll engage with prospective students via phone, email, and in person, guiding them toward the right aviation maintenance program and meeting KPI targets.

The role requires strong communication, sales or service experience, and a willingness to work a rotating schedule with evenings and occasional Saturdays. AIM offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service with KPI metrics.
  • One year admissions experience in for-profit post-secondary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with prospective students by phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings with enthusiasm.
  • Assess goals and eligibility, then champion the best-fit program.
  • Drive full admissions cycle: inquiry, appointment setting, interviews, application, documentation, enrollment.
  • Hit and exceed enrollment KPIs and maintain high-quality outreach.

What You’ll Do

This is a high-energy, high-impact role. You’ll own the full student journey — from the very first phone call to enrollment day — and you’ll do it with urgency, warmth, and a relentless drive to hit your goals.

  • Connect with prospective students through phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings — and bring genuine enthusiasm to every interaction
  • Assess each student’s goals and eligibility, then champion the program that fits them best
  • Drive the full admissions cycle: inquiry, appointment setting, interviews, application completion, documentation, and enrollment
  • Hit and exceed enrollment KPIs — outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and closing ratios — because you hold yourself to a high standard
  • Follow up with persistence and care — life gets in the way for students; you don’t let a good fit slip through the cracks
  • Represent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community events with the energy and pride of someone who truly believes in what we offer

Work Schedule: This position follows a rotating schedule.

  • Fridays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service with a record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios
  • One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for-profit) post‑secondary educational setting preferred

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
  • Excellent time management and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new CRM and enrollment management systems
  • Flexible availability for occasional evenings and one Saturday per month
