The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) in Indianapolis is hiring a Student Enrollment Specialist to drive the full admissions cycle and enroll prospective students into the aviation maintenance programs.

Meet candidates via phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings; assess goals; and champion the best-fit program. Earn up to $29 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and stable, growth-oriented role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year admissions experience in a proprietary post-secondary setting preferred.
• Proven track record in sales or customer service with KPI results.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students through phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings — and bring genuine enthusiasm to every interaction
• Assess each student’s goals and eligibility, then champion the program that fits them best
• Drive the full admissions cycle: inquiry, appointment setting, interviews, application completion, documentation, and enrollment
• Hit and exceed enrollment KPIs — outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and closing ratios
• Follow up with persistence and care — life gets in the way for students; you don’t let a good fit slip through the cracks
• Represent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community events with the energy and pride of someone who truly believes in what we offer

Campus Location: 7251 W McCarty St, Indianapolis, IN 46241

Work Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: Two days from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and two days from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Fridays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturdays: One Saturday per month, unless otherwise specified or based on organizational needs.

Compensation: Up to $29 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred

Experience

• Proven background in sales or customer service with measurable results against KPIs (conversion rates, outreach goals, closing ratios)
• 1+ year of admissions experience in a proprietary (for-profit) post-secondary educational setting preferred — but the right attitude and drive can go a long way

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to connect authentically with diverse student populations
• Excellent time management and multitasking in a high-volume, metric-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new CRM and enrollment management systems
• Flexible and available for occasional evenings and one Saturday per month
