Job summary

Texans Can Academies is seeking a Student Enrollment Ambassador at the Houston - Hobby campus. The role targets current or former Texans Can students, supporting enrollment outreach and serving as a peer leader who shares experiences and helps families with questions.

The ambassador promotes a welcoming school culture, assists with enrollment steps, and coordinates outreach for events and orientations while maintaining a daily M-F schedule. Salary is hourly.

Qualifications

• Must be in good academic standing and attendance.
• Must be a TCA student for at least two terms before applying.
• Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable speaking with adults and peers.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and have school pride.
• Willingness to be a student ambassador for at least two consecutive terms.

Responsibilities

• Call, text, or message families who expressed interest in enrolling.
• Share personal experiences about Texans Can Academies.
• Answer general student-life questions.
• Encourage families to complete enrollment steps.
• Remind students about orientation, required documents, and first-day expectations.
