Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking a civil engineering student for a summer internship in Sioux Falls. You will assist with structural design tasks, run calculations and simulations, and research topics to support project development.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in field inspections, and gain hands-on experience under mentoring by professional engineers. This paid internship focuses on building practical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Coursework in steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete design.
• Solid time management skills and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work efficiently.
• Good working knowledge of fundamental structural engineering concepts.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player committed to quality work.
• Some proficiency with AutoCAD Revit.
