RESPEC seeks a Student Engineering Intern (Civil, Geotechnical, or Geomatics/Survey) for Summer Internship 2027 in our Anchorage or Fairbanks Office. This hands-on role is within the Transportation Market Sector and will work alongside full-time staff to learn how professional services are delivered to clients.
Interns will be mentored to develop engineering skills, interact with clients and job sites, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on public and private sector projects.

This hands-on position is within RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector. This internship position will work alongside our firm’s full-time employees to learn how professional services are provided to our clients. Our experienced staff will provide mentoring and coaching to our interns to allow development of engineering skills and knowledge. Interns will get exposed to our clients, job sites, communities, as well as collaborate with our RESPEC multi-discipline team on public and private sector clients. Compensation depends on experience. No benefits are offered except those that are required for statutory purposes.
