This part-time role emphasizes hands-on mechanical tasks, test cell configuration, and collaboration with engineers to meet project timelines while supporting your cybersecurity studies.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age, in high school or post-secondary school.
• No GPA Requirement.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security.
• Part-time position, limited to 19 hours per week, designed to support your school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Reliable Data Acquisition: Maintain and troubleshoot systems like Cyflex, Calterm, and Indicom for accurate data flow.
• Maintain Sensor Accuracy: Calibrate and verify sensors and instruments for trustworthy data.
• Support Engine Testing Operations: Enable testing procedures in and around test cells, including engine installations and removals.
• Optimize Test Cell Equipment: Configure and maintain test cell setups for smooth operations.
• Monitor Emissions and Performance Metrics: Track emissions and data using AVL, Horiba, and FTIR.
• Track Particulate Matter and Efficiency: Use PM tools and flow meters to assess engine efficiency and environmental impact.
• Deliver Actionable Data to Engineers: Support teams by delivering accurate data for design validation.
• Collaborate to Meet Testing Goals: Work with engineers to align testing with development timelines.
