Job summary

The Community College of Allegheny County is seeking a part-time, temporary Student Engagement Support Specialist at the South Campus to promote and coordinate co-curricular programs and events for on-site, virtual, and evening students.

This role advises student clubs, supports Welcome Week and orientation initiatives, and serves as a key contact for campus-wide programming. Evening hours and occasional travel to other locations may be required; strong tech and outreach skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in student engagement, events, or programming.
• Experience in a college or higher education setting preferred.
• Proficiency with student engagement platforms and marketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement co-curricular programs and events for on-site, virtual, and evening students.
• Support student clubs and organizations with logistics and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate on campus-wide initiatives and promote events using inclusive marketing.
• Serve as a point of contact for student engagement programs and resources.
