Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County seeks a Director of Student Engagement (Reg FT) for South Campus. This role strategically plans student engagement, leadership, and inclusion across the college, connecting academic and student affairs throughout the student life cycle.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Student Affairs or related field and at least three years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include developing programming, managing the engagement budget, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Student Affairs or Higher Education Administration is required.
• At least three years of related experience in student engagement or higher education.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to engage with faculty, staff, students and external partners.
• Experience in developing student leadership and diversity initiatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute student engagement programs to foster campus life.
• Coordinate orientation, leadership training, and recognition events.
• Assess program effectiveness and measure learning outcomes.
• Lead co-curricular programming to support student success and inclusion.
• Oversee budget and ensure expenditures align with policy.
• Collaborate on enrollment management and retention strategies.
• Plan onboarding for new students and integrate them into campus life.
• Develop diversity, equity, and inclusion programming.
