Job summary

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking an Events and Student Experience Manager (part-time) to lead planning and execution of Ballard Center events, hire and mentor student staff, and strengthen engagement with campus partners. You will oversee peer advisement and student pathways to the GCI minor and Ballard Center programs, ensuring welcoming, data-informed experiences.

The role emphasizes faith-aligned service, collaboration with faculty and staff, and delivering meaningful opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in events, student services, project management, or related area.
• Experience planning and coordinating multi-timeline events or projects with multiple stakeholders and budgets.
• Experience supervising, training, coaching, or mentoring employees, students, or volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of Ballard Center events from concept through follow-up.
• Hire, train, supervise, and mentor student employees, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
• Oversee peer advisement and student pathways connecting students with the GCI minor and Ballard Center programs.
