Revere High School, part of the Revere Public School District, seeks a temporary Student Engagement Coordinator to support attendance interventions and student engagement. The SEC will liaise with families, staff and the Office of the Assistant Principal to address attendance and behavior concerns and monitor progress toward graduation.
The role requires relationships with guardians and Family Liaisons, experience with attendance systems, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Revere High School is seeking a temporary Student Engagement Coordinator (SEC). The SEC supports the Assistant Principal by implementing intervention for chronic absenteeism, student support, and student engagement. The coordinator will communicate with parents/guardians to address attendance and behavior concerns and plan for necessary support. The coordinator will also respond to telephone calls or other referrals or may go on location to intervene to support the student’s return to school. The coordinator will also assist with student/ family support and family engagement as deemed necessary, in collaboration with the RHS Family Liaisons. The SEC will be trained in and will implement intervention models, Check-in Check-Out and Check-and-Connect. In all of this work, the coordinator serves as a point person to help the students on their caseload make progress towards graduation and towards the realization of their goals after high school. This temporary assignment will begin immediately and continue through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Revere High School Hours for Students are 7:50-2:20. This position works one hour in addition to the student day, as agreed upon between the assistant principal and the Student Engagement Coordinator.
