Job summary

University of Central Missouri's Department of Agriculture seeks a student worker to support teaching and research tasks in agricultural programs. The position offers hands-on experience assisting faculty and helping with lab activities on campus in Warrensburg.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a production agricultural operation or other agribusiness is preferred.

• Help facilitate elements important to department operations such as organization and promotion of department events, recruitment efforts, social media management, alumni relations, etc.
• Tasks may be indoors or outside in greenhouse, nursery or field conditions.

• Tasks may be indoors or outside in greenhouse, nursery or field conditions.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Prior experience in a production agricultural operation or other agribusiness is preferred.

Working Hours and Days:

• Approximately 10 hours/week between Sunday - Saturday during regular 8-5pm working hours.
