Starting Pay: $20.07 an hour

Full Time: 7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week - 210 days a year

*All employees must complete a nationwide criminal history, upon hire.

Training:

1. 24-25 School year will be training for this position with the current Data Specialist.
2. 25-26 School year become the Data Specialist for Harrison County Exceptional Learners Cooperative.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive data from departments and school districts; input and code data into assigned systems.
2. Extract data as needed; prepare and maintain a variety of records and files related to special education.
3. Assist in providing information and data for reports, including mandated reports.

Qualifications:

1. Experience or knowledge in record keeping.
2. Filing.
3. Putting data into assigned systems.
4. Special education procedures/policies.
5. Communication with multiple school districts.
6. Collection of data for State reports.
7. Helpful to have background in special education and IEPs.
8. Ability to meet timelines.
9. Flexibility.
10. Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
11. Ability to multi-task.
