Uncommon Schools in Kentucky seeks an Associate Dean of Students to support the Dean of Students in driving culture, discipline, and student achievement. The role focuses on creating a positive, structured, and caring school environment that aligns with the organization’s mission.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and leadership to sustain high expectations for both academics and behavior, while managing administrative tasks to support student success.

Responsibilities

• Support the Dean of Students in establishing a positive, structured school culture.
• Assist teachers to build culturally responsive classrooms with high expectations.
• Communicate with families to strengthen home-school partnerships.
• Provide administrative support for student success (records, assignments, supplies).
• Support daily tasks for school leadership in culture initiatives.
• Lead or support key cultural systems (detention, mediations, lunch, arrival).
