Job summary

GOAL High School is seeking a Counseling Assistant to support the counseling department, maintain student records, and provide resources for students and families. The role focuses on academic planning, postsecondary readiness, and social-emotional supports.

The position requires on-site work in Colorado, with collaboration across staff and regional teams. A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree is preferred, with two years of experience with youth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience working with youth preferred.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Strong data management and records maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the school counseling department; maintain records and data for reports.
• Assist counselors with MTSS and graduation/guidance planning; gather resources for students and families.
• Maintain transcripts, schedules, and ICAP tracking; aid in audits.
• Coordinate collaboration with staff to support student academic progress and postsecondary planning.
