Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking a licensed professional to provide counseling services to students, including assessment, crisis management, care coordination and after-hours on-call support.

The role also develops training for bachelor’s or master’s level students and provides supervision for training in expanded care; there is a focus on consulting university constituents about student concerns.

Qualifications

• Must hold LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD or PhD independent licensure in Arizona.
• AZBBHE board approved supervisor.
• Knowledge of mental health counseling methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional counseling to students including clinical assessment, care coordination, crisis management, group therapy, and after-hours on-call support.
• Develop training opportunities for bachelor’s or master’s level students and supervise training for expanded care.
• Serve as a consultant to university constituents seeking help for a student.
