Job summary

Doosan Bobcat’s student program invites freshmen to seniors to join as Co-ops or Interns in Statesville, offering hands-on experience across 18 functions. Roles center on cost engineering, price analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a global manufacturing setting.

You will contribute to cost model development, testing prior to launches, and support for engineering and procurement activities, while gaining real-world experience during your degree progress.

Qualifications

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Mangement or equivalent.
• 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Be able to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist cost engineering team in developing cost models.
• Perform cost model testing prior to launch.
• Serve as a resource in support of engineering new product development and purchasing/global sourcing impacts, price adjustment & negotiation support.
