Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Content Creator & Video Editor position for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University ( OSU ).
The Marketing and Communications team for the College of Engineering is seeking a creative and enthusiastic student-employee to join our team as a Content Creator & Video Editor. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the college’s social media presence, engaging with our community, and aligning our social media strategy with the college’s priorities and goals.
This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Content Creator & Video Editor.
Position Duties
This position collaborates with the College of Engineering’s marketing team to ideate, create, develop, and execute video content that enhances our brand with prospective students, alumni, donors, industry partners, and the community.

Even though being an engineering student may give you quick insight into the college, it isn’t a requirement to fill the content production needs of the college. We’re looking for someone who gets excited about creating quality video content and the role it plays in building our brand reputation and loyalty. If you have creative ideas for how to make engineering content engaging and exciting and have passion and skills in video editing, let’s talk!
The hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules. Approximately 10 hours/week, max 20 hours/week for full-time students.
