Job summary

Newman University seeks a Student & Graduate Assistant to support University Relations by creating and coordinating content for print, web, social and digital channels. You will help promote the university message to internal and external audiences and assist with timely, targeted storytelling across platforms.

You will work with both the Digital Content Specialist and the Senior Graphic Designer, researching copy, taking photos or video, and ensuring messaging aligns with the overall marketing

Qualifications

• Current Newman University student pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, English or related field.
• Must be self-starter, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must demonstrate strong clear concise writing and public speaking skills.
• Must be team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Digital Content Specialist with messaging on all Newman University social media platforms.
• Assist the Senior Graphic Designer with creative design projects.
• Research and create copy, photos, video, graphics for university content and storytelling.
