Job summary

The New School in New York City seeks a Student Assistant Specialist to support the Associate Director of Events and Audience Engagement, elevating the university brand and assisting enrollment efforts. You will manage data, edit HTML, and help craft marketing descriptions for monthly newsletters.

You will create monthly Splash data reports, assist with subscriber lists in Listrak, and collaborate across brands and events.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Current matriculated student at The New School; graduation date June 2027 or beyond.

Responsibilities

• Elevate The New School brand and support recruitment as part of Brand Marketing and Communications.
• Compile and visualize monthly Splash data reports.
• Edit pre-generated HTML to create a monthly events newsletter.
• Copy-edit and review content for two monthly newsletters.
• Manage large-scale monthly contact uploads in Listrak.
• Draft communications materials including marketing and newsletter copy, event descriptions, reports, and summaries without AI support.
• Schedule meetings, take notes, and assist with project management for Splash projects.
• Support key event series and marketing initiatives as needed.
