The New School is seeking a proactive Student Data Assistant within the Student Success Strategies unit. You will help design and facilitate focus groups with students and staff, translating data into actionable insights that shape strategic initiatives for student success.
You will create high-quality presentation materials using PowerPoint and Canva, assist in literature reviews, and contribute to reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
The Student Success Strategies unit within the Student Success Division seeks a proactive, deadline-oriented, and adaptable Student Data Assistant. Reporting to the Assistant Provost for Transfer and Non-Traditional Student Success, the successful candidate will be a creative problem-solver with experience in data storytelling and producing high-quality presentation materials tailored to diverse audiences. This role supports the Assistant Provost in conceptualizing and facilitating student, alumni, faculty, and staff focus groups, translating data into actionable insights, conducting literature reviews, and contributing to reports and presentations that shape strategic initiatives for student success.
Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on‑campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions.
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
