Oberlin College Development in Oberlin, OH, invites applications for Stockroom Assistants in the Chemistry & Biochemistry department for Spring 2027. Majoring or planning to major in chemistry or biochemistry is preferred but not required.

Stockroom Assistants will develop understanding of materials, learn topics previously studied, build professional relationships with new students, and grow as educators.

Qualifications

• You must be an enrolled Oberlin College student.
• Must have earned a passing grade in CHEM 102.

Responsabilités

• 1-4 hour/week commitment.
• Assisting in the organization and operation of department stockroom.
• Assisting in the setup and support of the teaching labs.
• Handling chemicals and sample preparation.
• Cleaning and maintaining chemical glassware.
• Other related duties.
