Indian River State College seeks a student-centered Financial Aid Advisor to guide learners through the financial aid process and provide personalized planning support. You will evaluate aid applications, exercise professional judgment, and collaborate with diverse students to ensure eligibility and success.

The role emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and a commitment to helping students navigate federal, state, and institutional programs across IRSC campuses.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of related experience in a post-secondary educational environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with a diverse student population.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities; independent work style.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic and financial planning guidance to students and families.
• Evaluate aid applications and exercise professional judgment in complex cases.
• Assist with coordinating State and institutional aid programs and scholarships.
• Advise on Financial Aid applications and maintaining eligibility.
• Maintain accurate student records and respond to inquiries.
