Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a part-time student (6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits) and in good academic standing.
• Commitment to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Ability to lead student staff and coordinate scheduling.
• Criminal background check required.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive State vehicles.
• Must complete UWSP mandatory trainings during onboarding.
• Eight-week probationary period with performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student personnel and staffing operations for Catering.
• Train new student employees and ensure duties are understood (Catering Event Staff, Bartender, Production Associates).
• Coordinate with Floor Managers and Shift Leads on scheduling and training.
• Approve bi-weekly timesheets in PeopleSoft by the set deadline.
• Conduct performance evaluations each semester and after probation.
• Attend monthly Student Manager meetings and mandatory trainings.
• Provide back-up coverage when team members are unavailable.
