Job summary

University of Michigan-Flint is seeking student employees to perform a variety of manual labor tasks on campus. The position is fully onsite and hourly, with a schedule designed to accommodate class time and a weekly workload of 20–30 hours.

Responsibilities include receiving packages, packing boxes, setting up tables and chairs, moving equipment, raking and cleaning, transporting materials, and assisting with ADA door openers.

Qualifications

• Student at University of Michigan (UM)
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive packages and shipments.
• Pack and unpack boxes.
• Set up and take down tables and chairs.
• Pull weeds.
• Manually transport boxes, equipment and furniture.
• Rake, sweep and remove debris.
• Collect and transport waste materials.
• Assemble, disassemble or move equipment or fixtures.
• Move through campus testing ADA openers.
