Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University is hiring a behavioral health provider to deliver culturally affirming therapy to students and postdoctoral scholars. The role emphasizes diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and multiple modalities (individual, couples, group) with a focus on short-term therapy and accessible care.

The position is in-person on Marquam Hill, with some options for hybrid work.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD or Master’s degree with applicable Oregon licensure (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).
• Valid Oregon license or ability to obtain licensure quickly.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical post-licensure experience.
• Experience with diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and multiple therapy modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally affirming and responsive therapy to a diverse student population.
• Manage a robust caseload with high acuity; complete clinical documentation timely; no insurance billing in this role.
• Design and deliver at least one therapy or support group for students or outreach beyond 1:1 counseling.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health and wellness professionals.
• Foster relationships with student leaders and academic services to promote mental health outreach and education.
• Deliver psychoeducational presentations on student mental health topics.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss cases, coordinate referrals, and support continuity of care.
