Job summary

Serenity Lane is a licensed non-profit addiction treatment provider serving Oregon communities since 1973. We seek a Mental Health Therapist to support patient recovery in an outpatient clinic.

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, conduct assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centered care. Licensed or license-eligible candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required in Psychology, Counseling, MFT or LCSW.
• Active/Licensure in Oregon or ability to obtain licensure via supervised hours.
• Experience in assessment, evaluation and therapy.
• 2+ years post-licensure experience preferred.
• CADC I certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and mental status exams.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy within integrated care.
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling with medical staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for treatment planning.
• Provide case management, referrals, and coordination with outside resources.
• Document all services accurately in the EHR.

Serenity Lane is a licensed, non-profit addiction treatment provider serving Oregon communities since 1973 with a full continuum of care - from medically supervised detox and residential treatment to outpatient programs across the state.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' recovery and overall well-being. You'll provide individual, family, and group therapy, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centered care.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced therapist or a recent graduate working toward licensure who is passionate about co-occurring disorders and recovery-focused treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health evaluations (biopsychosocial assessments, mental status exams, pre-admission screenings)
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy within an integrated behavioral health and substance use treatment model
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling in collaboration with medical and clinical staff
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team for treatment planning and continuity of care
• Provide case management, referrals, and coordination with outside providers and community resources
• Document all services in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work (Required)
• Active license as LPC or LCSW in Oregon or the ability to obtain licensure through supervised clinical hours (Required)
• Experience in assessment, evaluation, and therapy (Required)
• 2+ years post-licensure clinical experience (Preferred)
• CADC I certification (Preferred)

Pay range and compensation package

$68,000 - $75,000 yearly
