Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks a Resource Assistant to support behavior management initiatives and provide non-professional counseling to students in our school settings. You will help maintain a safe learning environment, supervise student activities to promote positive social interactions, and document progress and incident reports in accordance with district policies.

This role supports a collaborative Treatment Team, assists with crisis management and student transitions, and helps

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience with children and families.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe learning environment following school policies.
• Supervises students to observe and influence social behavior.
• Develops counseling skills with emphasis on student well-being.
• Provides a consistent supportive presence in the school.
• Completes paperwork to record student progress and incident reports.
• Participates in Treatment Team and communicates information orally and in writing.
• Assists in crisis management and safe transitions to transportation.
• Contributes to a positive school culture and informs the Principal of relevant situations.
