Job summary

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) in Yakima, WA, seeks a Student Tech Liaison to ensure classroom and event AV equipment works smoothly and to support the learning experience.

The position is available to currently enrolled first and second year PNWU students, averaging about five hours per week and coordinating schedules with peers to cover classroom needs across campus. Per Diem status with a hiring rate of $19.00 per hour is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong organization, interpersonal, and planning skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances; ability to problem solve by analyzing issues and creating action plans; ability to manage projects and people and prioritize and self‑direct work flow; ability to work with and manage different computer programs and databases.

Responsibilities

• Setup and assist faculty with equipment in instructional spaces
• Setup and operate equipment for meetings, presentations, and events
• Other duties as assigned
