Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group in Arizona is seeking an Athletic Trainer to work with community student athletes as part of our Community and School Health Initiative. You will evaluate players’ conditions daily with coaches and medical staff and develop treatment plans that blend fitness and nutrition to support athletes’ health goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited athletic training education program and 1 year of athletic training experience.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer in AZ.
• Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school districts to provide athletic training services.
• Assist in home and away game coverage, including travel.
• Coordinate concussion management and post-injury testing protocols.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, schools, and families per FERPA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Support development and administration of a comprehensive sports medicine program.
