This position is limited to 129 hours per month.
This position will provide general assistance to the Water Resource Division (WRD) District Supervisor or Senior Licensed Engineer with general duties as assigned as they implement the requirements of Part 41, Sewerage Systems, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended (NREPA). Specific job duties will include assisting with the technical reviews of sanitary sewer projects under Part 41, for the Grand Rapids District Office. This position may provide assistance to other WRD programs in the Grand Rapids District.
The Student Assistant should have a strong interest in environmental protection.
