Student Assistant – Czarnota

Department: CAES-Horticulture

Schedule: Monday–Friday; work hours will vary around the student's class schedule.

Salary: $12.75 – $18.00

Anticipated Start Date: 10/03/2022

Duties and Responsibilities

• Nursery/Greenhouse: potting, pruning, weeding, grafting, seeding, data entry, maintaining research plots, watering, fertilizer and pesticide applications, running and maintaining nursery equipment located at the campus and local research farms. (50%)
• Laboratory work: washing dishes, preparing research samples, processing samples, data entry, running and maintaining lab equipment. (25%)
• Teaching & Extension: assist with preparation of teaching a weed science lab and assist with editing extension publications. (25%)
