Del Mar College is seeking a Student Assistant to support the Aviation Technology Education pool, assisting with upkeep of the aircraft hanger classroom and basic aircraft servicing. This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill Student Assistant assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Minimum Qualifications
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours including Aviation course(s) while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Basic knowledge of aircraft, hanger environment, movement of aircraft, servicing of aircraft, handling of aviation related materials,
Ability to use hand, precision, and pneumatic tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of FAA General Knowledge courses.
