• Coordinate activities for other student employees.
• Provide excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and work in a professional environment.
• Represent the department and university with integrity, applying OSU mission and shared values.

Qualifications

• Prior experience and knowledge or skill in a student assistant role.
• General knowledge of operating a personal computer using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or other software programs).
• Ability to keep exact and detailed records of data obtained from experiments.
• Ability to detect subtle variations in test results and instrumentation.

Additional Information

• Investigate performance of nozzles, sprayers, and pest control agent delivery systems.
• Analyze samples collected from field and laboratory experiments.
• Operate simple test instruments, make simple adjustments, and record data.
• Use standard tables and substitute formulas as required.
• Plot data or results.
• Maintain work area in a proper and safe manner, and clean and organize related instruments and supplies.
