Job Summary:

The behavior technician plays a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals who require behavior intervention services. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), they implement behavior intervention plans designed to improve the lives of clients with behavioral challenges. This role involves direct, one‑on‑one interaction with clients, focusing on increasing desired behaviors and reducing problematic behaviors through structured interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implementation of Behavior Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA to address specific behavioral goals of clients.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately record data on client behavior during sessions to track progress and outcomes of interventions.
  3. Behavioral Support: Provide direct support to clients during scheduled sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement and other approved behavior modification techniques.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in the implementation of behavior plans and discuss client progress.
  5. Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized documentation of client progress, behavior incidents, and any changes in behavior plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
