Washtenaw Community College is seeking a Student Ambassador to welcome and guide new students, host campus tours, and present at events both virtually and in person. You will help with onboarding, communications, and coordinating activities across departments.

This role emphasizes building connections, providing referrals, and representing the college at various events. Scheduled up to 15 hours/week on campus, with mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 credits completed before position starts.
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Must be registered for 6 credit hours in winter, summer and fall semesters.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate orientation for new and returning students.
• Provide campus tours for individuals and groups.
• Conduct presentations at events (virtual and in-person).
• Greet prospective students, families, and guests at events.
• Assist with data entry and materials for events.
• Make outbound calls to students for registration and reminders.
• Check in with new students after onboarding to gather feedback.
• Represent WCC at on- and off-campus events.
• Serve as a point of contact for campus resources.
