Job summary

Mercer University seeks a Student Ambassador on the Atlanta Campus to support Admissions and Financial Aid. Under supervision, you will help with direct mail campaigns, data entry, and answering questions from students.

You will also assist Welcome Center visitors, conduct campus tours, and perform other office duties as assigned by the supervisor Renee Slaton. This is a part-time student role with 20 hours per week, starting 08/18/2025 and ending 05/15/2026.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Mercer student in good standing and Federal Work Study eligible.
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to assist with Welcome Center visitors, prospective and current students.
• Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Student Ambassador will also assist with Welcome Center visitors and walk-ins, give campus tours, and other office duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Must be a current Mercer student in good standing and Federal Work Study eligible. Possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to assist with Welcome Center visitors, prospective and current students.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pay rate

$11.00 per hour.
