Job summary

Joliet Junior College is seeking a Student Employee for the Agriculture Lab/Office Assistant role. You will support Agriculture program faculty with lab/office duties and recruitment.

The position is part-time and FWS eligible, with a typical schedule around class commitments, up to 20 hours per week, and occasional summer hours with supervisor approval. Qualifications include enrollment in 6 credits at JJC, a minimum 2.0 GPA, and active involvement in an Agriculture degree program or strong

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in 6 credits at Joliet Junior College during fall/spring.
• Minimum GPA 2.0 or above.
• Enrolled in an Agriculture program or have strong interest in agriculture.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, dismantling, and organization of laboratory spaces.
• Typing, filing, organizing, and other office area functions.
• Host potential students for campus tours.
• Assist with recruitment activities for the department.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
