Pacific University seeks a NWS Student Advisor to the School Chair for Creative Thought & Expression. Open to current Pacific University students; part-time, up to 8 hours per week, for 12 weeks per semester.

The role serves as the liaison to the faculty chair, coordinating with peer schools and leading the student advisory team. Requires strong communication, discretion with sensitive info, and a customer-focused approach to campus life.

Qualifications

• Pacific University undergraduate student (preferred, but not required for all majors).
• Qualified for federal work-study funding for 2025-26 (preferred, but not required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential information in FERPA-compliant manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to serve as information source to campus community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School Student Advisory Team and attend monthly School meetings.
• Act as primary liaison to the faculty school chair and coordinate with other schools.
• Schedule regular engagement times with student advisors to gather feedback.
