Job summary

Pacific University seeks a part-time FWS Student Advisor to the School Chair in Creative Thought & Expression. This role, limited to current Pacific University students, manages a school advisory team, coordinates across schools, and liaises with the faculty chair to support student belonging efforts.

The position is capped at 8 hours per week for 12 weeks per semester, paying $16.80 per hour. Successful candidates will be proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace and handle information

Qualifications

• Pacific University undergraduate student pursuing a relevant program.
• FWS eligibility for 2025-26 preferred but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to handle sensitive information securely and FERPA compliant.
• Strong oral and written communication and excellent customer service.
• Self-motivated individual who engages with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School Student Advisory Team and attend monthly School meetings.
• Serve as primary liaison to the faculty school chair and coordinate with peers from other schools.
• Engage with student members to collect feedback informing school chair decisions.
