Job summary

The Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Student Activity Helper to assist with extracurricular sporting events at Catalina High School. This is a supplemental, hourly position supporting a variety of duties during the school year.

Candidates must meet minimum requirements (high school diploma or GED, at least 18, English verbal and written skills). FBI background check and immunization proof are required prior to start. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Proficient in verbal and written English; able to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

SUMMARY

The Student Activity Helper is responsible for assisting with extra-curricular sporting events in a variety of different duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

• FBI fingerprint background check required.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

LOCATION: Catalina High School - Pima & Dodge Area

Supplemental Hourly

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
