Job summary

Glenbard East High School in Lombard, IL is seeking a Student Activities Supervisor to oversee all student clubs, elections, and related activities, ensuring compliance with district policies.

The role involves certifying election results, approving candidates, training officers, maintaining inventories and records, and coordinating with the APSS for access to Skyward. Regular presence at meetings and events is expected. This is a full-time position at a school site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all elections and certify results to the APSS.
• Approve all candidates for each club office before elections.
• Train officers and members in handling their offices and guide club operations.
• Submit the constitution or charter to the APSS when first organized.
• Approve all club announcements, meeting dates, flyers, and apparel.
• Be present at every meeting, social event, and fundraising activity.
• Make an annual inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Complete forms and reports as directed in the Handbook.
• Consult with the APSS for smooth club functioning.
• Attend Activity Night and Booster Award Night as needed.
• Represent your club at Presidents Council Meetings.
• Follow guidelines in the Handbook for Student Activities and funds.
• Coordinate with APSS/Activity Director to access Skyward accounts.
